Quick answer

What is telehealth rehabilitation at Q Factor?

Telehealth rehabilitation is a scheduled video session with a licensed provider who guides movement, checks form, progresses your exercises, and tracks how you are doing between hands on visits. It is available to patients located in Texas.

Telehealth in Texas

Rehab that fits around work.

Telehealth is how mobile patients keep progressing without a second visit to the door, and how office patients avoid a drive for a 20 minute session.

What you need

A phone or laptop with a camera, a few feet of floor space, and any bands or tools the provider sends home with you.

How a session runs

A short check in, a review of your home program, guided exercises with the provider watching form, and adjustments to the plan.

What it does not replace

Adjustments, imaging, and examination happen in person. Telehealth is the rehabilitation and follow up layer of your plan.

Is telehealth as good as in person rehab?

For guided exercise and follow up, most patients do well. Your provider will tell you if your plan needs in person sessions instead.

Can I use telehealth if I live outside Texas?

No. Providers are licensed in Texas and sessions are available to patients located in Texas.

How long is a session?

Usually 20 to 30 minutes.

Is it private?

Sessions run on a secure video platform. No recording is kept unless you ask for one.

Sessions may include

  1. Movement assessment
  2. Guided exercise progression
  3. Home program review
  4. Symptom check in
  5. Coordination with your in office plan
